Northport 2010

We spent last weekend in Northport, MI for our annual vacation with the Moore side of the family. Camping through a wicked storm last year is primarily the reason we decided to rent a cottage this year. If you've never visited the mitten's pinkie, we highly recommend it. One of the highlights on our trip is visiting all of the wineries in the area. We think the main attraction is the scenery. To anyone that has ever said they "hate living in Michigan", you've obviously never been to the Leelanau Peninsula.

And while touring the wineries...

What a terrific weekend full of good food, games, vino, and most important, family. Can't wait for Northport 2011. Cheers!

Port Austin 2010

Every year we spend the first weekend in August in Port Austin, MI (the tip of the thumb). It's a weekend full of beach time, games, good food, laughter, reminiscing and enjoying good family. This year we brought our cameras and had a blast capturing the essence of the cottage. Not nearly as good as being there in person, but almost.

The steps.

The perfect place to nap.

Another lovely sunset.

Thank you Nana and Papa!
